Saint Vincent the Paul in Action
Community-Focused
At our All Saints Strathroy Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, we believe that true service begins with a personal connection. We provide more than just the essentials like food and clothing; we offer a hand up to those navigating difficult times .
Our work is entirely volunteer-driven, focusing on personal home visits that bridge the gap between crisis and stability. Whether it is helping with rent, providing food hampers, or offering a supportive listening ear, our goal is to build a stronger, more compassionate community for everyone.
Guided by the same principles observed by St. Vincent de Paul and Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, our volunteers—known as Vincentians—turn faith into action every day by providing basic support offering assistance through the following programs:
Food & Clothing Programs
Our mission is to provide emergency support to individuals and families within our Strathroy community. As our programs are funded entirely by the generous donations of our parishioners, assistance is subject to current fund availability.

Advocacy & Referrals
We believe in a holistic approach to support. Following a confidential consultation, our team can provide advocacy and referrals to other specialized agencies to ensure you receive the full range of support available in our region.
Meal Program Schedule
Lunches are available at All Saints Parish on Thursdays except the 2nd Thursday of the month when it is served at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Take out may be available
These meals are made possible through the heartfelt generosity of our parishioners’ monthly collections.
Holiday Celebrations
We host a special Christmas Lunch each December to celebrate the season together. We are also incredibly grateful to the students of St. Vincent de Paul School, who thoughtfully support directly our Joyful Socks program preparing gift bags filled with winter essentials—like socks, mitts, and toiletries—to ensure every guest feels the warmth of the holidays.
Home Visits are the core foundation of our work as Vincentians and the true expression of our Love for our community. These confidential, in-person meetings conducted by pairs of volunteers (Vincentians) provide tailored support, including food, clothing, vouchers, and companionship to individuals in need.
Through our parishioner's support we run our diaper and incontinence bank, accessed by mothers with babies and adults on a Once Monthly basis. Each person receives one sleeve or package of product. (no wipes are distributed at this time)
Cap for diapers is age 4.
This service can be accessed on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9am until 10am at our All Saints Parish
The Ozanam Education Fund was established to help individuals break the cycle of poverty by covering essential educational costs. The fund was established under the Ontario Regional Council of Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. Conference members identify students either through our Community Outreach Program or work closely with counselors at Holy Cross Secondary school.
The grant is applied to the tuition or residence fee for the student at any post high school educational program in Ontario.
The application process is conducted by the Conference members and is approved by the Ozanam Grant Committee at the provincial level.
This program is inactive within our conference at this time, to learn more or to inquire about future availability, please contact us at ssvpallsaints@gmail.com
Seeds of Hope Project – The Government of Canada provides up to $2000 for every eligible child born after Jan 1, 2004 who is registered for the Canada Learning Bond (CLB). SSVP is a champion of this program as we walk alongside families, making sure they are aware of it, and how to access it through their financial institution. This is no financial burden to the family, nor does it affect any other social income they may be receiving. Additionally, the Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG) allows additional funds to be deposited into the child's RESP. Depending on the family's income and contributions to the RESP, a child can receive up to $7200 for their post secondary studies.
